Somehow, we’re already halfway through the year! What a year it’s been so far! Between clinic growth, exciting new treatments, and big things happening at home, I wanted to share a quick update with you as we head into the second half of 2025.
Incoming Baby + Nicola New Business
Baby News – Our Family Is Growing!
Nicola and I are thrilled to share that we’re expecting baby number three—a little girl, due early November! We couldn’t be more excited (and a little daunted!) about becoming a family of five. Leo and James are already practising their big brother skills, and we’re currently on the hunt for the perfect name—so if you have any favourites, we’re all ears. It’s a really special season for us, and we’re so grateful.
Planning Ahead
If you’re thinking about booking in for a treatment before the end of the year—especially in the lead-up to Christmas—now’s the time to book. My calendar fills quickly around that time, and with baby’s arrival expected in early November, I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off. That said, I’ll still be on call for any post-treatment questions or follow-ups during that time. Booking ahead will help ensure we can secure a spot that suits you before the silly season kicks off. AHPRA, TGA & QLD Health Regulatory Changes
As many of you may have heard, there have been some significant changes to the regulations around cosmetic procedures, including updates from AHPRA, the TGA, and Queensland Health. These changes mostly affect how we as practitioners advertise and communicate about treatments. Behind the scenes, I’ve already made the necessary adjustments to ensure full compliance—so you might notice a few subtle changes in how we share information. But from your perspective as a patient, it’s business as usual. You’ll still receive the same high standard of care, honest advice, and personalised treatments you always have. My priority remains your safety, your results, and your overall experience in clinic.
